One of my favorite early rock influences.

Damn... I was recently listening to his first 'on his own' album Derringer 1976 (birth last name was Zehringer)... Looks like he was taken off life support for a 'whatever' medical issue?... Absolute great guitarist & composer...
Snappy tune from that album-
Images from that album-

I very much disliked the earlier images where they tried to make him look like a 'girl' or unisex (All American....Uhhh 'BOY"?)...

I think that was just the era, like a glam-rock thing. But then it just faded away basically and he had regular photos later on.eLawnMust wrote: Wed May 28, 2025 1:38 pm

I saw him at two different concerts in Seattle. One of those times he played at the Kingdome, also there that time was Jeff Beck (!) and Aerosmith headlined it all. I didn’t care as much about Aerosmith, I was mainly there for Derringer and Mr. Beck.
Derringer got the crowd going crazier than the other groups that night. I was in the middle of the crowd, sort of towards the front, and it was very chaotic when he got the crowd in a frenzy.
