Well I liked it enough to buy it, but I'm conditioned to buy these gat dang things when they're $19.99 like I wouldn't rather have a pizza or something (wouldn't I, though? Usually?) - I'm on the mega bundle that lets me keep 3 per year, I usually don't buy individual licenses anymore for that reason, but here they managed to reverse psychology me in a funny way: $19.99 is less than I expect the bottom dollar on the plugins I really want to keep to be, but I like bx_aura, because it is quick and easy to work with to make slightly higher-fi effecty reverbs that I enjoy. So if I want to keep it too, better to pay $19.99 now, than to pay a Forever 29 coupon or one of my Mega Bundle plugin keeper slots, because those are each more expensive.

I could also have just kept using bx_aura for the rest of the year and waited for a sale, I mean, if they're introing it at $19.99 to many buyers that doesn't suggest they're going to have a high bottom dollar on it for very long. Some flavor of FOMO plus an inverse anchoring price effect, I dunno, I'm just an ape creature and I did not evolve to occupy cities or use the internet, I'm just doing it

I'd insta-buy this for $20. I've been looking for a reverb with this exact feature set, specifically the gating/ducking with visual feedback. Would have been nice if they had included a Plate as well.

Guess I'll just have to wait until it goes into the discount bundles with all the others.

Between NI Raum, Isotope Neoverb, Fab Filter Pro R 2, Valhalla Vintage Verb, and 2B Played PrimeVerb, my favorite general use work horse reverb is... Logic Pro Space Designer. LOL

After demoing I got this one. Glad that didn't have a lot of reverb effects, but I have tried many of them. I think, Brainworx made an outstanding job with this one. The drive, the gate (the best I've ever heard), the different modes, the CPU for such a good quality.... Very impressed.

I finally got FabFilter Pro-R 2 Reverb. And you know what? Aura still smokes it. I tested it on 909 claps and even kicks. Not the fan of all the latest Brainworx offerings, but this was the perfect spot. No matter how I abused it, it never sounded metallic. Basically on the same level as Voxengo Sobor.

Anyone know if that loyalty price is still good, or was the $19.99 an intro price for Rooms owners only? The reason I’m asking is because Rooms is on sale for $19.99 and Aura is on sale for $39.99. Seems like someone could buy Rooms for $19.99 then use the loyalty price to get Aura for $19.99 and end up getting both for the same sale price as Aura.

it was only an intro price. i have rooms and didn‘t bite with the intro price. now it‘s gone. i can only buy aura for 39,99. no upgrade. though I have other strange upgrades in my PA account…
