Resonarium is a MPE-compatible expressive physical modeling synthesizer. It is designed to encourage abstract sound design, exploration, and open-ended play.

Many of the presets work best when used in conjunction with a MPE control device, such as a Ableton Push 3 or a Roli Seaboard.

It's in Alpha at the moment but looks really interesting

I would love to play with this thing more but it's pretty much unusable on my old machine. Great concept, would probably buy it if it was a paid product. I will be looking into it's development and I wish the developer all the best.

Ooh! nice - working for me but yeah it is CPU intensive for sure

I've just compiled it on Ubuntu 22. Unfortunately I won't have time to play with it tonight, and probably not for the next week. But at first glance it looks like fun.

The default patch is silent! I thought it might be broken... no, you just need to turn on at least one exciter and one waveguide. Or load one of the other patches.

There appears to be a draft manual at https://web.stanford.edu/~gns/resonarium.pdf . I haven't read it yet.

unfortunaltely it
crashes logic 10.5.1 auval tool under mojave
crashes hostingAU

crashlogs saved in case of interest

I confirm - the plugin periodically crashes or stops producing sound in FL Studio. In Bitwig it only crashes. Not very often, but for these reasons I can't use it in my tracks.
However - the plugin looks great. The presence of convenient MSEG is especially pleasing.
I'm waiting for the next versions.

That's a cool bit of synth. I'll be using it. Hopefully they get the code tightened up and optimized through the alpha and beta process.

Very promising but probably need to freeze in DAW at the moment. The Python bindings are neat too (if you're that way inclined obvs)

Love it!
Tons of options and works great here on my Win11 laptop.

Fantastic synth! No issues with the alpha on macOS Sequoia 15.5 and the latest versions of Logic Pro and Ableton Live
Duality without regard to physicality
