Just checked it, works as expected in Logic, i.e. the layout follows the selected number of pads.yoursoul wrote: Thu Nov 14, 2024 10:14 pm in atlas, is it possible to only show 8 lanes in the sequencer? mine shows 16, even if i pick the layout where the drumkit only shows 8 pads...

I suspect they're referring to the internal sequencer lanes; they don't change based on the drumkit layout, at least as far as I can see (Standalone, Ableton, Bitwig).abi wrote: Sun Nov 24, 2024 12:08 pmJust checked it, works as expected in Logic, i.e. the layout follows the selected number of pads.yoursoul wrote: Thu Nov 14, 2024 10:14 pm in atlas, is it possible to only show 8 lanes in the sequencer? mine shows 16, even if i pick the layout where the drumkit only shows 8 pads...

I dunno if the lastest version will change anything, but this one just doesn't work for me. I’ve give several changes over past 5 years for the plugin, but the AI is just too robust, workflow and UI unconvinient.

Is there any AI IN Atlas? Please describe it to me! : )Harry_HH wrote: Tue Jun 10, 2025 4:04 am I dunno if the lastest version will change anything, but this one just doesn't work for me. i love atlas. use it all the time. the sequencer is amazing. i get places really quickly with it and it's easy to duplicate and edit patterns. i do wish i could change up the gui and put the "Browser" button on the right side though.. sort of silly to have it on the left when the browser unfolds on the right.

Think - what could it be?dune_rave wrote: Tue Jun 10, 2025 4:27 amIs there any AI IN Atlas? Strange question - Haven’t you seen how Atlas was promoted when it was launched?
Obviously you haven’t (too young?).
What the developer described, is that the plugin AI recognized different kit pieces by ”listening” the sounds /folders of sounds you target to the AI in your computer.
As the end-result you should have a Atlas sound universe(s) of separate sound clouds, each cloud containing different kit pieces. Then you can either randomize the kit or drag and drop correct kit piece to your ”drum”.
But as I commented earlier, the end result is not very good. The kit composed by the AI sound too often shitty, or very shitty, or just unusable.
Even more often the end-result doesn’t fit to your project.
And its not only that the AI is rather stupid, the workflow or UI is not the best possible.

opinions vary. i like the results i get and find it puts things in correct categories for me. shrug. your experience is different obviously. if it doesn't work for you why not sell it off and move on?Harry_HH wrote: Tue Jun 10, 2025 1:39 pmThink - what could it be?dune_rave wrote: Tue Jun 10, 2025 4:27 amIs there any AI IN Atlas? I'm having very good end results with it and like the plug in a lot other than a few minor gripes. i'm looking forward to whatever updates are in the pipeline.

Hey folks, just a quick heads-up that Algonaut Atlas 2 is currently on sale for US $49, which is a great price for what it offers. I don’t recall seeing it this low before, but I might be wrong of course.
Its over for Bitwig--CUBASE WON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it happened in other Black Friday sales previously. I'm now on speedrums more than this, but I think it's pretty cool anyway. Not cool you have up to four activations, you can't recycle them without contacting their support.enCiphered wrote: Mon Nov 10, 2025 12:02 pm Hey folks, just a quick heads-up that Algonaut Atlas 2 is currently on sale for US $49, which is a great price for what it offers.
