I would not know myself.

Put me down for “anything but the current behavior”.

Sorry for the delay in releasing an update containing this. The truth is that updates are coming slower now that all the important features and bug fixes are implemented and there are no urgent issues. However, when the next update comes, it will include this requested feature change, and in a way that permits choosing either the existing method or the new method proposed in this thread.

Wow, that's awesome, Roger! Thanks! The Linnstrument just gets better and better. I absolutely love how you continue to not only support the hardware, and support the user base, but also keep updating the firmware with new features and fixes!

Not to get too far afield, but your foresight in choosing an open source approach will keep Linnstrument alive and well perpetually. So many products from the past linger unused, or worse end up in landfills, because the manufacturers didn't exercise this wisdom.

Thank you for your kind words, ryanpg. Geert and I will try our best to get an update out in the not-too-distant future.

Hi Roger, just checking in. Looks like there's been no update for a couple years. I looked on Github and don't really see any relevant commits. If there's any code in alpha I'd be happy to act as a beta tester. Thanks!

I’m sorry that there haven’t been any recent software updates. Geert’s simply very busy these days and the only remaining software needs are minor and requested by one person or few people. For the time being, perhaps someone would care to edit the open source code to add this?
