It made sense in Matrix series because they had a mod matrix there, this one doesn't.felis wrote: Sun Jun 15, 2025 1:25 pm If you're open to suggestions, would you consider adding release velocity as a mod source?
The only OB's I know of that had it were the Matrix series, but it really added something special to them.
Ya - mono too, I'd imagine, unless you plan to change that. But then again.........
if you're considering MPE.

It is stereo, you can pan individual voices already. Unless you meant something else with "mono"?

Patch creation and audio example production are indeed possible from my side!EvilDragon wrote: Sun Jun 15, 2025 2:12 pm Programming skills not required. Making factory patches, writing documentation, producing videos and audio examples, those are all valid contributions, too.

I don't have OB-Xd. I thought it was a monophonic synth.EvilDragon wrote: Sun Jun 15, 2025 6:07 pm It is stereo, you can pan individual voices already. Unless you meant something else with "mono"?

In Ableton it will work because that is just host automation really. In Bitwig there needs to be a decent amount of work done to support CLAP modulations.

but regular automation modulations work just fine. The non-destructive modulation is more work but regular old fashioned automation works right now!EvilDragon wrote: Mon Jun 16, 2025 11:25 pm In Ableton it will work because that is just host automation really. Will this OB-Xf also work in Win 8.1 ?
I am asking because the last new Shortcicuit2 I tested did not work in Win8.1 even if it's freeware.
Beside this I have an OB-xd with a easter-egg where I can load banks and I generally have no problems with it.(also if some improvements would be nice)

We are using JUCE 8, which pushes the minimum requirement to Windows 10. It should be theoretically possible to build from the source code with JUCE 7 ("theoretically" because in some cases, some code modifications would need to be made), which would retain W7/8 compatibility, but we are most likely not going to do this for official binaries to limit the support burden.

Sorry for shortly distracting a bit from the original topic here.MorpherX wrote: Tue Jun 17, 2025 10:01 pm ...

But I felt honored, that this easter-egg version of OB-XD I provided for download more than 11 years ago actually is really used by someone (MorpherX
This effort back then at the end somehow initiated the development of VeeSTeeEx!
Note that the link provided in my post from April 2014 doesn't work anymore...ZonderP wrote: Thu Apr 24, 2014 9:01 pm@glokraw & all others interested in a Windows VST version of Obxd that can load banks.glokraw wrote:If you can add a patch selector/browser, you will be very popular,

You may download 32 and 64 bit versions of it here:
http://1drv.ms/1lKMr0z
Note: With this version it is just only possible to load banks. It is not possible to save banks nor is is possible to load/save single presets or rename them. As far as I can tell only useful when used within Bitwig Studio and Kore 2...
Hint: Move mouse over top knob of left rack...
Hope it works for all of you...
