Question about Cerebrum groove box

What does full working version do that this doesn't?

This demo doesn't seem to sync with my Host (Reaper)
I've never had that issue with a VST. Is that the demo restriction?

I've done all combos of hitting the host button on the VSt.

I like this groove box because it sounds old, whereas new ones sound new.
