Linndrum doesn't have a sidestick, just a rimshot, and it doesn't sound right
Linndrum doesn't have a sidestick?
Yes, just rimshot
Umh, no.
There are two kinds of people in the world. And you're not one of them.

It sounds like the same drum sound that was playing routes to a digital plate reverb with a compressor on the return. Easy to do with automation or routing in a DAW.

The sounds are all different, but achieved by sending the snare/ clap/ side stick to the proper reverb as an accent.

The name 'Linndrum' usually gets applied to the LM-2, rather than LM-1. Probably because it says 'LinnDrum' on the LM-2, but 'LM-1 Drum Computer' on the LM-1.

The LM-1 Drum Computer has 'rimshot', but the LinnDrum has 'sidestick', not 'rimshot'.

Look at that! It's actually a sidestisk. Sorry. In all my sample libraries from Linndrum it's called Rim.

Give this patch for Surge XT a try, it's not too far away for a purely synthesized version. Those tunes are late 80s, so the source is almost definitely from samplers, early 80s we used to get that kind of sound from synths.

Have you tried Annaliis the synthesiser from Make Electronic Sound:
