Likewise and my computer, while certainly not the best, isn't all that old. I'm getting glitches without seeing much happening in Bitwigs DSP meter which is odd.

Tetrad sounds great though. Brief demoing yielded some really nice atmospheric sounds although I'm pretty well covered for that with things like Abyss and Zyklop. But I really love physical modelling- love making sounds that are reminiscently of real world instruments but also somewhat unique.

I've got Preparation 2 but haven't really enjoyed it that much. It's either sort of atonal cymbal scraping or a somewhat cheesy sounding chorussy pluck sound. Granted, I simply haven't taken the time to get used to it but I find Reaktor Prism much more versatile albeit very arcane to program.

A crazy cpu hog sadly...

Post

CPU needs to be addressed, as it eats it even without playing a single note…
And I could not find out where to set MPE mode. It seems to miss a manual…
A stripped down version with a single plate as fx would be nice to get as well…

Post

as far as I know/experienced, win10 version has a bug that eats cpu.
don't despair:) Craig will fix it asap...
works super-smooth on Mac ARM.

amazing instrument :) I like it a lot.

Hi, as explained above, clicking the info button opens a link to the quickstart guide. MPE mode is configured directly within the Mod Matrix, as it affects the selected target.

That does appear to be a bug, and some users have reported similar issues. We didn’t encounter any problems during our testing. The best course of action is to email support with details about your operating system and DAW, so we can attempt to reproduce the issue and identify its source.

Please note that we did not run specific tests on Windows 10, as it will soon reach the end of official support from Microsoft. If you are using Windows 10, be aware that this issue may not be resolved.

Hi, can you email support? We’ll look into this.
After my conversation with their support I can inform you guys
that they do not allow license transfers.
You may keep that in mind.

Hi, just to clarify — the licenses you asked for pertain to our plate reverb plugins, which are unrelated to this thread, and not for Tetrad. That wasn't clear from your first message above. While we may occasionally and on a case-by-case basis offer a short grace period for newly purchased plugins in instances of reconsideration, we do not support license transfers. This is written in the Terms and Conditions on our website.

Hi

We've updated Tetrad to version 1.0.2, with improved CPU efficiency for the Windows 11 build, plus minor bug fixes.

Post

Larger font please. I don't have a telescope.

Did check v1.0.2 quick just for cpu eating yet (Win10 here, StudioOne 6), seems can say decent considering such type synth. It's about 20% in most cases of presets, sometime less (10-17%).
Not a new cpu BTW (i7-8700)

We released a short tutorial video explaining the architecture behind Tetrad and how it makes you think in fours.
