@bryansonic, will the full release when installed load and recall settings of the beta?
It should do, yes!

Hoping to get it out this week.

Congratulations on the release.

It's really awesome. Sounds fantastic and the UI is great.

Something about the node based format makes a lot of sense in a reverb.

Vela - The Ultimate in Reverb design. A completely game changing reverb technology that enables you to create and sculpt the most beautiful, wide, spacious reverbs known to man.

From ultra real spaces to impossibly massive soundscapes Vela is unmatched in versatility and sound. Vela gives you total control over every aspect of a reverb's architecture with its fully customizable early reflection system combined with a node based late reflection engine enabling you to finely tune density, decay and damping filter over time for a luscious, smooth tail.

Vela can also effortlessly emulate the sound of some of the worlds most sought after classic and modern reverbs without the limitations of captured Impulse responses. Get the famous characteristic sound from the world's top reverb algorithms like Lexicons, Bricasti, TC Electronic and more. Then use the versatility of the Vela engine to go far beyond what these reverbs were ever capable of.

Is there any chance you could also support Linux?
Vendor‑Dependent Copy Protection: Customers lose. Pirates win.
(Also: I'm Accused of lying about Linux—it boots, runs my pro audio workflow, stays stable, updates--though yearly dismissed as “niche”. Yet I'm the deluded one.)

Hold shift on the pre delay time / or late reverb duration.

Click on the grid to display beats / bars instead of time and use snap to lock nodes to a tempo

When I first read about Sonic Academy developing a new plug-in, I immediately signed up for the beta testing and downloaded the effect. Their node-based system is what really grabbed my attention in their Kick designer, and I was curious about applying those principles to reverb.

I was very intrigued to see how a similar workflow would apply to designing reverb spaces of every kind, and I’m really happy with the results. I spent almost all night putting Vela 1.0 through it’s paces on a 2020 Intel iMac, and I must say that it’s one incredible effect, even on that older machine!

Vela puts an amazing amount of control in my hands, and it sounds excellent on everything from drums to vocals, and everything in between. Ultimately, I think that’s what is most appealing to me. I can use it to design small spaces for percussion and orchestral instruments. And then I can create huge, lush walls of sound for that cinematic, deep space vibe!

I highly recommend giving Vela a try, even if your computer doesn’t have the best specifications. I thought for sure that I would encounter more problems related to CPU usage. But the plug-in didn’t crash even once on my older iMac. I wasn’t expecting that level of stability on a 1.0 release version. But that’s what I got. So I give Sonic Academy’s Vela two thumbs up!! :tu: :tu:

The 30% discount is ending tomorrow. I've been on the fence with this one, as while I think it's great I'm already stacked with reverbs.
Of course, the chances are fairly high that it will be discounted again in the near future.
Every day takes figuring out all over again how to f#ckin’ live.

Eh, my beta discount code has expired. There was no mention of an expiry in the email.

It was very clearly mentioned in the email, at least the introductory email that was sent out when VELA was unveiled:

But this was a general discount, no beta discount code which might be something else?
