Yes, please video to email@accsone.com. Thanks!
Morph Time entry should be of coarse one-time only (e.g. like you can see with the stand-alone version). But some hosts/DAWs mirror back the plug-in Parameter to the plug-in and as the Parameter is bound to the range of 0-60sec there will be an update back also to the UI. The 2nd time it works as the host don't receive another Parameter update because the Parameter max value is already reached. Workaround: Change the max range of the Morph.Time Parameter mapping in the Mapping Tab

Thanks for the tip! I've just noticed that in Ableton Live morphing time setting doesn't work in VST 2 but in VST 3 there's no such problem. So in future I'll just use VST 3.

Thanks for reporting - confirmed and we fixed it already and it will be avail in the next upcoming free update version (stay tuned)andreTSV wrote: Wed Mar 05, 2025 4:40 pm Playback of the bank (saved by version 10) with version 11:
If the Global DCO is ON (lit in blue), you always have to press Start/Stop and, what's more, the wave in the DCO always remains the same regardless of the preset chosen.
If the Global DCO is OFF, Start/Stop must always be pressed for each preset, but the wave changes with the preset, as it should.

Yes, this is a great feature request! At least for the Offset. We have to think about the Modulation in that case: Should it "jump" to other divisions or should it stay with continuous ms? We put the idea definitive on the backlog! Thanks!kraster wrote: Sun Jun 29, 2025 6:38 pm Is there a way of syncing delay time, grain length, grain life, and grain density (birth) to a musical division instead of milliseconds?

I think just for the offset.
I think leave the modulation as continuous since you can quantize modulation in various ways.
Having offset set to beat divisions is mainly a shortcut. I’ve been doing it with a bpm calculator.
Maybe it could be a more general offset snap feature so anything time based could be best synced and anything pitch based could snap to semitones.
Also it would be great if morph time was syncable too.

Pitch snap is already in place with the appregiator modes (see manual). Thanks for your suggestions, very appreciated!kraster wrote: Mon Jun 30, 2025 9:14 am Maybe it could be a more general offset snap feature so anything time based could be best synced and anything pitch based could snap to semitones.

@kraster
What you're asking for is already possible with Ableton Live Suite 12 using the Shaper audio effect.
With crusher-X 10:
go to Configure mode for the crusher plugin and click on all the parameters you want in the crusher-X GUI, they are automatically assigned. All you have to do is map these parameters (up to 8!) with Shaper.
With crusher-X 11:
with this latest version, you can no longer configure all parameters in Ableton. When you switch to Configure mode, a certain number of parameters appear, but you can't add any more. This is a shame, and it would be great if accsone could remedy the problem. However, it's still possible to do so, as Macros are available. All you have to do is map your parameters to these macros, which can then be mapped with Shaper. And, of course, morphing time can also be mapped, but I'm not sure that's the result you're looking for!
In any case, the sound results are very interesting!

It's not so much modulation but just quantizing musical divisions for various parameters. I'm talking about setting Delay, length, birth, generator offset and lifetime offsets to musical divisions (1/4, 1/8, 1 bar etc.)andreTSV wrote: Wed Jul 23, 2025 8:15 pm @kraster

This feature is available in a lot of other granular plugins.
A shaper or any Ableton mod source (LFO/envelope) is outputting from 0 to 100% max range. This maps to the Macro which goes between 0 and 1. This is great for modulation but it doesn't solve the problem of quantizing.
I use a bpm calculator to translate musical intervals to milliseconds. e.g A quarter note at 110bpm is 545.45 ms.
I use the excellent minicalc m4l device by Hercelot in Live.

But having this built into Crusher-X would be great. If it had the same quantization pull down menu that the modulators have that would be ideal.

A few quality of life changes on preset handling would be useful for me.
- A 'bank as default' option to set a user bank to load on startup would be very welcomed
- Hiding of empty slots in the preset dropdown (now fills my screen top to bottom)
- Being able to mouse-scroll the dropdown when it exceeds window size (i can only click arrows)
- Ability to structure banks with folders instead of underscores would be more intuitive

No native solution, but if you want you can create very exact quantizers in Max. I sometimes use it to set and modulate speed/pitch intervals from mod sources outside of CX. It's only a bit of work to set up and more intensive on the CPU. I use Modulat for this, its very flexible.kraster wrote: Mon Jul 28, 2025 10:34 am It's not so much modulation but just quantizing musical divisions for various parameters. Host Quantization of time based Grain Modulations (Offset) is avail in crusher-X 12. Give it a try!daizok wrote: Tue Feb 03, 2026 9:09 amNo native solution, but if you want you can create very exact quantizers in Max. Yes that's super useful. What i sometimes use it for is to create macro controls that step through a series of values i set in the m4l patch. I may use a midi controller to manually cycle through, or a modulator when i find it harder to set values with a stepped source in cx.
Another small feature request: ability to name the macro controls would be very helpful
