I followed the instructions on the GitHub page to set this up in macOS but could not get the GUI to render, just a red GUI and an error message. It must be user error, even though I followed the instruction to the letter, right?

Anyway, I’m wondering, what’s the actual difference between this and the other two similar looking plugins floating around these days? I seem to be missing a bit of the history.
