Good thing I didn't buy Halogen. I found it to be underwhelming and not as unique-sounding as Nemesis. I am so glad they finally made a synth for Windows.

At the bottom of their website:
"There is no license authorization, online requirement or other forms of DRM measures taken in Pivot. We believe that users should be treated with respect and trust."
Just awesome!

Played with the lite version for a bit, rather nice, super quick to get nice sounds out of it so picked up the full version for a bit extra control in the mod department

Very nice-sounding FM synth, but it doesn't seem to support MPE, at least the free version doesn't. Can anyone confirm please?

Yeah, no MPE yet – but I am going to look into adding it (to both versions) down the line. :–)enCiphered wrote: Wed Jul 02, 2025 10:19 pm Very nice-sounding FM synth, but it doesn't seem to support MPE, at least the free version doesn't. Can anyone confirm please?

Thanks mate and congratulations, bought it! If MPE gets added, this will easily replace OPS7 for me. Can't wait!ess_m wrote: Wed Jul 02, 2025 10:31 pmYeah, no MPE yet – but I am going to look into adding it (to both versions) down the line. :–)enCiphered wrote: Wed Jul 02, 2025 10:19 pm Very nice-sounding FM synth, but it doesn't seem to support MPE, at least the free version doesn't. Big fan of Fors stuff.Have all the max 4 live devices but recently switched to Bitwig. Nice to see the new trend of releasing cross platform. Purchased.
Any plans to update Tela for Windows/Linux?
Also any plans to migrate the max 4 live devices to cross platform plugins?

There are some loose plans for Tela! It wouldn't be an update so much as a rewrite/remake in JUCE, but regardless it would be free for existing users. I'd like to do it though, I think the synth engine is very interesting and deserving of a wider audience.adash123 wrote: Wed Jul 02, 2025 10:42 pm Any plans to update Tela for Windows/Linux?

The Max for Live stuff– not sure. I think there are some favorites I'd like to try to re-imagine in a native plugin format, but I wouldn't want to do any direct ports.

Pivot has a simple UI/UX design and really nice sound.
Excellent value and definitely worth the low asking price. (and that's without the current 25% discount until 20th July) ~ I almost felt bad for buying it while on discount, since it's still only £29 when full price.
I also picked up their other reverb plugin Sala for free, which was a nice bonus.
I'll be interested in what else Fors may develop in the future now that they are supporting multi-platform releases of their newer plugins.
Oh! and they also earn bonus points for supporting the CLAP format.
May the Fors be with you!

Are the controls visible to the DAW? If not are they controllable remotely via CC? I didn't see any information on that in the manualess_m wrote: Wed Jul 02, 2025 10:31 pmYeah, no MPE yet – but I am going to look into adding it (to both versions) down the line. :–)enCiphered wrote: Wed Jul 02, 2025 10:19 pm Very nice-sounding FM synth, but it doesn't seem to support MPE, at least the free version doesn't. Looking to setup a controller in Gig Performer which preferably uses DAW Automation or secondarily CCs

Are you connected to Fors?
If so, just a little issue with the installer for Pivot on Win 11:
If the user opts to install only the CLAP format (i.e. no VST3).
The CLAP plugin will install, but it will be incorrectly located inside the VST3 folder. I manually moved it to the correct CLAP folder, post installation and it works fine however.
With the Sala installer on Win 11:
If the user opts to install only the CLAP format (i.e. no VST3).
The CLAP plugin will install inside the correct CLAP installation folder.
However an empty folder will still be created in the VST3 installation folder.
I just deleted the empty VST3 folder post installation, for housekeeping purposes.
But perhaps, you could correct those minor bugs in each plugins' installer (for CLAP only installations) in a future update?
