Does your version (in the settings page) match with 1.0.2506051905 ?
The Mac version may not have picked up the final GUI graphic. Just want to check your version #.
Anything and everything about MIDI - arp, mapper, mangler, generator, chorder, controller, utility, fx etc.

@Paul ... Ah, OK, the 1901 is actually correct for the final release build for the VST3.
1901 is the "time", 7:01pm, 5th June 25. The CLAP version is 1905, the AU is 1850.
The Mac versions will be re-compiled to make sure the final GUI background is included. The Windows versions are fine.

found this in Google:
Rhythmizer and Stepic are both music production tools, but they serve different purposes. Rhythmizer is a plugin for creating rhythmic patterns and melodies, while Stepic is a more general-purpose MIDI sequencer with a focus on step sequencing. Stepic is often praised for its flexibility and customization options, making it a powerful tool for crafting intricate rhythms and melodies, while Rhythmizer excels at generating more complex rhythms and variations on rhythmic patterns.
Rhythmizer:
Focus: Generating complex rhythmic patterns and variations.
Strengths: Can create interesting and evolving rhythmic ideas, especially useful for electronic music production.
Limitations: May not be as versatile for general MIDI sequencing tasks compared to Stepic.
Stepic:
Focus:
A general-purpose MIDI sequencer with a strong emphasis on step sequencing.
Strengths:
Offers more control over individual notes and parameters, allowing for intricate and customized patterns.
Limitations:
Might require more time to learn and master compared to simpler tools like arpeggiators.
Alternatives to Rhythmizer and Stepic:
Several other sequencer plugins can be considered as alternatives or complements to Rhythmizer and Stepic:
HY-Plugins HY-MPS3: A step/block/MIDI sequencer with a modular design.
ADSR Orbit: A MIDI/Euclidean sequencer.
Audiomodern Playbeat 3: Another sequencer plugin known for its creative possibilities.
Sugar Bytes Nest: A MIDI/DIY/modular sequencer.
HY-RPE2: A Euclidean sequencer.
Choosing the right tool:
The best choice between Rhythmizer, Stepic, or other alternatives depends on your specific needs and musical style:
If you need a tool primarily for generating rhythmic variations and interesting patterns, Rhythmizer might be a good starting point.
If you need a more versatile sequencer for crafting intricate melodies and rhythms with more control over individual notes, Stepic or other more advanced sequencers might be a better fit.
Consider exploring the various options available and experimenting with different plugins to find the ones that best suit your workflow and creative process.
Note: both Rhythmizer and Stepic have been updated.

I’d have HY-SEQ32 ahead of the other two HY sequencer plugins.
Its ability to modulate its own controls and quantise the result to a scale can lead to happy accidents.

It's not that you have to restrict to this thread, just that you can post anything and everything about these kind of plugins on this thread if you want, it's more of an effort to try to relieve FOMO(fear of missing out), I think. I want them all, gotta catch'em all!

Having a broad overview of all of the tools is every bit as valuable as threads that dig into the specifics. This provides introductions to new things and you can go out and drill down elsewhere.oobesan wrote: Sat Jul 05, 2025 5:45 am This thread is very inconvenient. Agreed. Really appreciate this thread being a one-stop MIDI shop. There’s nothing stopping anyone from starting a thread on a specific MIDI plugin if they want to either.sandandpaint wrote: Sat Jul 05, 2025 8:18 amso that someone like me - and I dont think I am unusual - has one convenient location to see if anything new has popped upoobesan wrote: Sat Jul 05, 2025 5:45 am This thread is very inconvenient.
