Well, I just ordered enough AS3109 chips to do a swap out of my Juno 60 to see if there is any difference between the OG and the updates that matter to me. I really haven't been following the remakes and NOS situation. I have a more than a few old chips that are now worth tens of dollars each. I could start an ebay empire!

The year of DIY is off to a...well, slow...start. This should help. I'm not trying to buy too much this year, but you have to crack some eggs and all of that.

Well, this arrived today:

Yes, I paid too much to get the little scope. I have a much (much) better scope in my shop, but that isn't what this is about, so, I paid for the scope.

Need is a heavy word here. I have all of this stuff in my shop. I have been using breadboards for decades and have signal generators and all of the toys. However, what I like about this is that I can take a simple design and bring the whole thing out of my shop, sit it in front of my modular and work with it. I like that you get a temporary panel with controls and jacks solidly mounted. If you've ever experimented with this sort of thing you know what a pain it is to either 1) deal with jacks and controls on short pigtails, or 2) have jacks and controls on small boards take up too much space on your breadboard.

Of course I didn't need the extra parts kit, nothing new there for me, but I got it anyways because that's what was available. Shout out to Analog Haven for super fast shipping. The price wasn't great and I don't know if that's just the way it is in the U.S. or what, but, I didn't want to deal with international shipping and they had both parts in stock.

That's a really good price. If I needed a couple of Go cases I'd get that instead.

Wow... Considering that the Go-cases (of which I have two) alone are very nearly half that total price, that is a serious steal on the rest of that package. Lots of cool modules in there, and some room to expand. Good score! :tu:

Same price in £ and € at G4M and Andertons. Behringer seem to be dropping prices on a lot of stuff recently, by quite large amounts in some cases.
How original

That is lovely, but, I want the $59 (that's a guess, whatever) device that will be stuck onto my otherwise useless, because I don't have a reason to play it, Ibanez acoustic.

I think these are exempt from tariffs, but decided buying from a US seller is likely the easiest option. Some of the ebay listings looked sketchy (using an image posted by a reddit user as their product photo).

Hopefully this will get the Opsix working again! I bought the software plugin version just in case I manage to break it. 8)

Success! I have a working Opsix again.

And likely cheaper parts by you! It wasn't a difficult install, but only if you have x2 pry tools for knobs, fader caps and board connectors. Just 40 minutes and a relaxed/chill disposition (just for those 40 minutes).
