I would love to try this out but on Windows 10 it crashes to desktop as soon as it tries to scan my VST folders.

By the way I love the Amiga style pointer, it's fun! My first taste of Music Production was when I was a kid. It was OctaMED v4 (then later v5) on my Amiga 500+. So you can see why I am looking forward to see how this DAW develops and being able to use it.

Hello there. I think it's about exe packer. I tried the same file without packing and the result was 100% virus free. Any way it's your own choice

Yeah, i start with ProTracker 2 on Amiga and ofcourse Octamed Check color settings, there another "easter egg"

Updates :
- VST3 now support composite plugins (like Waves) with component selector
- plugin scanner now remember crashed plugins and not to try touch it again
- new sampler command to start samples from predefined position
- copy/cut/paste between multitrack and sampler audio
- some minor refine interface
- some minor errors fixes

Download the latest version from http://www.mak-sa.net/software. New in the last month:

[new] if plugins scanning crash app, plugin move to "bad plugins" database. just restart application and continue scanning.

[new] multitrack time selection now has zoom to selection shortcut key.

[new] can drag n drop wave audio or MIDI from external to timeline.

[fix] combobox text width adaptive (to show all text).

[new] sampler pattern command to start play note from cue point.

[new] "Edit" menu now has base commands and it works to interchange wave data between multitrack and sampler.

[new] Audio data "Paste mix" now works.

[new] Audio data "Paste" and "Paste mix" now convert any bitrate / samplerate to any other.

[new] tooltip works (covered 80% of interface). hope it really help to understand interface. sorry, no manual yet. To show/hide tooltips use "?" marked button (bottom - right corner of main window).

[fix] plugins scanner many fixes (thanks to testers). this is a very serious task, because i don't have all the plugins in the world. 1000...1500 plugins are now scanned without failures.

The app seems promising, but:
Some vsts are still crashing the app. Scanning the vst folders seem like russian roulette.
Could you please add tooltips to the main buttons of the interface?
Although by the looks the interface seems intuitive, when you start using it, it becomes less clear what does what.
For instance tracker views should be looping by default(how to activate), recording into pattern should happen at record not only at edit button, etc. Still not able to record live into toe Live view, etc.

1) scanning crash - after crash, send me file pcs.log form Ultradaw/settings folder. it's a text file with crashed plugin name.
2) tooltips done (90% of interface covered) in last version
3) Live view it's only play live (will be extended with record further)

I don't care what the Bitdefender says. I have no time to move http->https. My site don't collect any information like email, don't use coockies, it's simple information.

writing a manual takes time. I'm busy with the code for now, unfortunately. There is a Quick Start Guide on the site. I apologize, but for now this is my project written for me. I have not received a cent of donations, so for now I am working according to the plan that is planned for my convenience
