I would never have known this had you not said. Thank you !!agharta wrote: Sun Jul 06, 2025 8:41 am If you purchased Falcon prior to the current sale, check your account for a 50% off coupon which can be used against most purchases I believe.

I got it too, even if I bought Falcon 2nd hand. That is nice.

First think I tried was the complete bundle, can't use it for that.koalaboy wrote: Sun Jul 06, 2025 10:30 amI would never have known this had you not said. I don't like how they use discounts to try to force you into buying, imo a coupon for a product upgrade should not expire. That kind of thing makes me not want to buy anything from them.

I dig how they do it. And it’s alright. When they launch a new product you can get it at its lowest price, more often than not. Later they regularly offer sales with coupons for those so inclined. Rule #1: buy at launch.

Honestly, I can't recall them ever offering an upgrade on it before, which is why I never upgraded.Fleer wrote: Sun Jul 06, 2025 8:47 pm I dig how they do it. And it’s alright. I could have missed it though... Xtreme FX 2...

Some great stuff there. World Suite is just brilliant. I subbed for a while but actually found the sheer abundance somewhat crazy making, spent so long just scrolling presets. This was prior to the tag library release which makes things easier to navigate.Fleer wrote: Sun Jul 06, 2025 10:17 pm After a while, I decided to go for the Sonic Bundle. Taking all those libraries into Falcon is a godsend for creativity.

With each and every release I got a massive discount for the last ten years at least....pekbro wrote: Sun Jul 06, 2025 8:53 pmHonestly, I can't recall them ever offering an upgrade on it before, which is why I never upgraded.Fleer wrote: Sun Jul 06, 2025 8:47 pm I dig how they do it. Ah, yes.IvyBirds wrote: Sat Jul 05, 2025 9:42 pmIris and Iris 2 (which I will forever resent Izotope for abandoning) will display a spectrogram of your sample where frequencies were top to bottom and time was left to rightliv wrote: Sat Jul 05, 2025 6:33 pmA sequencer controlling position in the granular module?cyberboycoolen wrote: Tue Jun 03, 2025 2:02 pmNot sure if the following makes sense but, maybe they could also add a sort of "specular select" sampler/module, similar to the one in Iris 2?swilow11 wrote: Fri May 30, 2025 11:45 pmYep, me too. It just seems like the engines in Falcon are totally blind to one another. But being able to do some basic FM/PM between oscillators would be so good and would probably elevate Falcon to True Master Synth status. As it stands, it's almost like a DAW and each oscillator a separate synth. Not sure why UVI couldn't implement something like the essentially industry standard 'FM form B' thing.liv wrote: Sat May 17, 2025 3:35 pm I'd like a possibility to link two wavetable oscillators with an option to modulate one from the other.Could be fun.
Then you had an assortment of Photoshop like selection tools where you could just use whatever part of the sound as your source
One of those would be awesome in Falcon (or Omnisphere, or HALion) thanks to the large sample library that is available
I still use Iris 2 all the time as it still works fine on Windows 11, it's still a powerhouse but what I do now which makes it even more powerful is to highlight and select the audio and then sample that as a one shot and then import that WAV file into Falcon or HALion7 for sample mangling. You get many more synthesis options with less CPU hit with them over Iris 2 as it was always a massive unoptimized CPU hog
It's also awesome to use that way with the resynthesis functions inside of Dawesome Myth or HALion7
Actually kind of weird Falcon don't have Spectral mode already. I'm thinking Alchemy.

Just doubling down on the wish for a spectral processing / resynthesis mode (something to comoete with Halion) and audio rate interactions between generators (or even between layers).
MIDI out is huge and so, so much is possible in Falcon as is. Excited to see if grow
