Light panels for my Make Noise modules that I'm keeping, not going to bother for the ones that I'm selling. However, that seems nearly impossible as grayscale stopped making them.

Do you mean "light" as in colour, or the PCB transparency? Here's an alternative to grayscale:

I'm not a musician, but I've designed sounds that others use to make music. http://soundcloud.com/obsidiananvil

Light in color. I have a lot of black panels, of course, and for some things, e.g., Behringer Moog modules, I don't care. However, for things like the Make Noise modules that have a lot of detailed interaction, I find them tedious.

Dude! I just have been playing the Enner through it. Talk about something made for something else! Wow! Running the contact mic into it on high drift and 0.8 FB creates a noise ASMR drone wonderland...

Apart from a few modules I have my eye on, and a 3 tier unit with pro1/cat/kobol, and maybe K2mk, as well as the 101mk2... (I've been very good at not throwing my money at everything, been enjoying what I have) I want a unit for my eurorack that I can plug my guitar into

How original

More or less fine tuning my Yamaha guitar and bass shaped instruments.

Sold: one Revstar
Bought: another Revstar, two SBV-550, one BB-VIII
Selling: one SBV-550

I borderline collect Yamaha SBV’s so this is normal for me

you mean a module you can input your guitar in to?
or some sort of amp to bring the volume up?

module i use a doepfer 138d cfx
crossfader and fx insert. an out/in loop for using pedals in the patch, but can also be used just to input the guitar...
to bring the amplitude up to level, i use a compressor or fuzz/distortion or any gain pedal :tu:

im sure some people will have more expensive and more pro ways of doing it :hihi:

Not pocket money, but definitely cheaper than I expected too. The b-stock price is just right for me.

Not that I was in a hurry, but I really thought it would have shipped already since they’re in Brooklyn. It’s probably a good thing so I can mess with the reel first.

I’m also hoping the Spotykach ships out this week. Hopefully before the orange guy eliminates any de minimus rules.

I ordered another Quader PSU from Konstant Labs. The first one was a huge improvement. The noise/crosstalk issues I was having with one of my Serge panels is gone and I can get rid of the HCC 15-3-a PSU that has producing a loud physical hum when powered on for a while.
The second one will power my live rig, which has the side effect of making it much lighter.

I'm thinking of possibly moving away from linear PSUs for my eurorack systems as well. They produce so much heat! The linear PSUs have better specs (in some ways) than more common switching supplies but I think I have weaker links in my power system, and I'd like to get some of that sorted.

I certainly don't have a room that big. I'd need to build an entirely new building, just to house those drums! Instead of calling it the "drum room" I'd call it the "drum hangar", because it would need to be large enough to fit small aircraft! :hihi:
