Hi, just bought fl, and i have had cracked versions of fl. How do i remove it completely, but save projects? ZIP? Thanks

Best bet would be online search. I doubt you'll get help here as there is zero tolerance for pirated software. That said, you might find projects here "C:\Users\user\Documents\Image-Line\Data\FL Studio" . I save mine where I want them on another drive so they are never in danger.

I understand, but since I bought, I want everything legit. Projects are saved, now I need to somehow fully uninstall the daw.

Start from Zero - reinstall everything nr. 1 - the operating system

It depends on what method is used nowadays, I remember historically it was just a .reg file. If this still is the case you can just open the .reg file in a text editor and then manually remote what's in there using RegEdit.ext in Windows.

If it's a crack that patches the .exe file, I assume everything will be overwritten if you just install FL Studio again.

Uninstalling an re-installing should also do the trick of course.

And in case there are changes in the hosts file, jag kan also remove them manually.

Newer versions are online activation. Either way I don’t see any reason to worry about what’s in the registry. Just back up your user folder/projects, uninstall the crack if you can, and reinstall the legit version. Any other changes to your system are probably best left to a malware scanner.
