Hey KVR,
I'm building an alignment plugin that gives you separate control over time AND phase correction, with variable amounts (0-150%) instead of all-or-nothing.
Why? Because current tools force you to accept whatever phase "correction" they apply, even when it makes your drums sound lifeless or your room mics lose their natural space.
What this solves:

Close mics need 100% tight? ✓
Room mics need only 30% to keep the vibe? ✓
Just want timing fixed, leave phase alone? ✓
Visual feedback shows exactly what's changing

Background: Audio engineer, math degree, 10 years dev. Already matching commercial plugin accuracy.

Need Logic/AU beta testers who:
Record with multiple mics( or can download stems from online)
Know the pain of "sounds good solo, disappears in mix"
Willing to test and give feedback

Free license for testers of who give feedback. Just need real-world feedback.
Anyone else frustrated that tools like MAutoAlign only do time, while others force phase changes you don't want?

Hello, SebonGuitar. I am on Mac (MacBook Air M2 15.5 (24F74)). After effectually losing access to my Waves plugins, as WUP got a bit out of hand, I've been looking for something to replace my trusty inPhase plugin. What I liked about inPhase, is that it let me adjust time, polarity and phase (with different filters) and it gave a clear feedback. I would be interested in testing your plugin.

Scarlet Pumpernickel - Perfect timing! It sounds like ProAlign would be exactly what you're looking for. Like inPhase, it gives you control over time alignment AND phase correction, but with some key improvements:

Separate controls for time and phase (you can do one without the other)
Variable phase correction from 0-150% instead of just on/off
Clear visual feedback with correlation meters and offset displays
Multi-track view for handling complex sessions

I'd love to have you as a beta tester! Your experience with inPhase would provide valuable perspective. Please shoot me an email at sebonguitar@gmail.com and I'll get you set up with the beta. Include your MacBook Air specs (which sound perfect for testing - M2 is great).
The goal is to make alignment tools that actually solve real-world problems without forcing unwanted corrections.

Hey Nug Wrangler - Thanks for checking in! Currently ProAlign is starting with AU (Mac/Logic Pro) for the initial beta, but Windows/VST3 support is definitely planned for the full release in September 2025. I want to make sure the core features are rock solid first, then expand to other platforms. I'll keep everyone posted on the Windows timeline!
