Nice to know that they still update the old stuff. That gives me hope that they'll bring Apple Silicon compatibility to the Wave V3 too.
Here's what's new:

"Changes in Version 2.3.3

- Apple Silicon native support (for all bundled plug-ins and platforms)
- macOS Sequoia support
- Windows: Support for current Windows 10/11 releases
- AAX presets for D-Pole and missing VST3 presets for Attack now supplied"

Post

Weird that they keep updating this but not PPG v3

Post

Neato!! I like updates. I've had some crashing problems with attack, For a long time now.
Don't F**K with Mr. Zero.

Post

Wow even Attack, which they said was pretty much not updatable?? Go Waldorf!

(And thank god now more restarting after installing now!!)

Post

I thought Attack was long dead. Might be worth it just for Attack.

Post

Hopefully they'll fix the release velocity mod they broke in Largo 2.

If they do, I might start buying from them again.

Post

I would like to see them do Attack for macOS like they did for the iPad:

This is a great thing to wake up to. Attack is still one of my favorite drum synths.

Spoke too soon, 2.3.3 AU and VST2 are incompatible with Live 12 on Apple Silicon, (don't even want to attempt it in Digital Performer), got a hard crash with the VST3. Sending in crash reports, hopefully this gets fixed.

[edit] and just for fun in Digital Performer the AU and VST2 versions are the only ones that pass evaluation. (hopefully Waldorf fix this)

I’m confused with the PPG Wave (2.2V) included in that Edition 2 bundle and the other PPG Wave (3V) also available in their store. What’s the difference between these 2 PPG Wave synths?

Mainly the 3V has a much better sounding filter

Ok thx! Might wait for the PPG Wave 3 update then, since Waldorf seems to be on a nice momentum of updating their plugins 🙂

Honestly if you want the sound of the PPG Wave in plugin form the best way to get that is the Waldorf Microwave Plugin

It just came out at the end of last year and as a modern plugin is leaps and bounds better

In the late 1980s Waldorf acquired the technology and some of the engineers from PPG and made an updated version of the PPG Wave. With all of the PPG Wavetables and then some

The Microwave Plugin is just way way better than either of the older PPG Wave plugins

Wouldn't the Blofeld plugin be the most uptodate generation?
