Sell Singles - Virtual Singles Listing

Coming up next is the singles listing for artists to sell their singles on line – now I think they should be sold in blocks of three – so one artist sells an option for any three of their singles that they release over one month – they have to have three available to sell.

The artist generates a paypal button – and AudioShots hosts the demos plus the make the listing with the button.

The purchaser buys the right to download three tracks from that one artist – now the bit I am thinking is, the purchaser does not have to download the three tracks that are being sold – but can download the favoured ones and wait until the artist releases a new single – the purchaser can then download that if they want, or wait.

Thing is the singles sell for peanuts on the net really, and it makes it difficult to sell just one from one artist, without turning the whole site into a commercial hellhole. With vast amounts of money going to the host – what I want to do is get it so the money goes directly to the artist.

So block of three singles – how much would you pay? What do you think of the work around?
