Soundtoys 6 Wishlist

Seeing as Soundtoys seem to be more active than they have been for a long while and now we have the resizable hiRes GUIs everyone was clamouring over, plus a great new effect, what are your wishes for SoundToys 6?

Mine are:

• Modulators and macros in the Effect rack
  A Superhall reverb (with nonlin options)
  Alterboy
  Echoboy 2 (combining the elements of Echoboy and jnr into one plugin)
  A granular/spectral effect
  GUI makeovers for the classic effects - they are high res but still look rather dated
  CLAP plugin support
  Surround/Immersive support
  Better browser with favourites

It's beyond embarrassing that they still have not implemented it in this day and age.

The 'little' ones don't seem to be hi-dpi.

I don't think that's correct, db3.
PrimalTap isn't hi-res either, but Little Plate seems to be OK above 100%.

It seems to be a mixed bag with little rhyme or reason.
Perhaps more popular plugins got higher priority? Maybe Soundtoys doesn't think PrimalTap or Radiator deserve the attention, but FilterFreak and EchoBoy do?

oversampling for sure. From a company with so many saturators, its a little weird/seems lazy (from the outside) they haven't done this.

CLAP plugin support

Could you tell us more about why CLAP support is important to you? From a developer's standpoint, I get the appeal of a minimalist API that appears to be nicely designed - but I don't entirely understand yet why users would care about this, or what workflows or capabilities it would unlock.

Output knobs for Radiator and Devil-Loc.

1. Oversampling - but the good kind
2. Overhaul the GUI's to add more color and avoid black on black on plugins like Echoboy
3. Input/Output knobs
4. FX modulators (either in the Rack or everywhere)
5. In the Rack, expose the feedback path in Echoboy/Jr. so we can run FX in the feedback loop
6. Just generally make the Rack a little modular playground - think Chowdury's BYOD and how you can wire up modules

I think I'm the only one on the planet who still likes the UI on the OG plugins.

Not to say that they couldn't use a touch of modernization, but I wouldn't want to see an entire overhaul.

I Like how Echoboy Jr looks. I wish some of the other darker plugs just went this route.

Yeah, that's where I'm at. Echoboy Jr looks a-ok to me. Echoboy looks dated with too much black-on-black-on-black and janky looking red LED's (compared to Jr's nice looking janky LEDs).

Speaking of which, what's up with the red dots along the top of the LED's in some of the legacy plugins, like Echoboy, in the latest 5.5 release? Is that intentional? Not sure what they're going for there but it looks pretty bad IMO.
