well, my first server has already exceeded it's bandwidth for the month, so apparently people are still interested in obtaining my atomic traveller softwares, but as of yet, no recomp for them this month.
i make these s/ws free so that everyone can access them. BUT if you can afford it and listen to it longer than 10 minutes/a couple of gos, then i think you need to PAY.
you pay twice as much for cds that are total shite.. why not support a completely new 'art form'/'technology'?? i cannot afford to continue developing this idea unless i'm going to get some shit back for it.
lessee.. that would be at least 300 downloads this month and i've seen fuckall mention of it in threads, so SOMEBODY must be saying something good about it. 300/0

Unfortunately people tend to pick off anything that's new and part of their hobby or profession. I'm sorry to hear so many people punked out. I'm one of the people that d/l'ed so I'm also part of the problem.
Quite honestly though, when I check out synths I do so to see if it's something to review and I probably spend more time trying synths, many still not listened to. Many are donation ware too.
It's a horrible market right now. People give synths like Crystal away freely. Several developers make free and shareware products. Perhaps that would be better than depending on people showing decency. I don't remember how payment can be made but a lot of people avoid places like Paypal.

sickle - how many 'noise ensembles' ave you cooked up now? and then used? you could create another 'brain' module that connects to a couple of them and every now and then automates groups of parameters for new 'songs' ?? you've already done most of the work and have the b/g.
