I think the reason for that is because it got co-opted.

A full month has now passed since the last response I received from IK. It is over 3 months since I logged the issue.

Not sure, but at this point I'm not surprised by any 'lalala cant hear or see you' from anyone IK related.
But I must admin, as of earlier today, and that next one-month-of-silence anniversary, Ive now tried poking him a bit. If it goes much longer, I'll maybe poke him a lot more.

Peter is anti-customer. When confronted with customers talking about difficulties with plug-ins or bringing up valid frustrations regarding pricing, he just makes excuses and explains things away.

Well, believe it or not, after directly quoting Peter here yesterday, I actually got a response back from IK. Amazing timing, eh?

Their email basically said 'we did some stuff to your account, re-authorise and it should work now'

Correct. Did reauthorisation, reinstallation, tried 'restoring purchases' two different ways, absolutely no f**king change whatsoever.

Are you implying that you quoting them led to you getting a response? How would they know which IK account you were?

In answer to the second, I'd easily be able to look up someone's ticket on our helpdesk system using keywords taken from the details Ive provided in this thread. The product, the missing modules etc etc. I also mention specific dates :shrug:

In answer to the first, i'm saying that i find the timing quite amazing. They have only responded to me 6 times in 3 months, with 3 of those responses being on the same day, 5th June. They had only responded to me once since the 5th of June, and as I say that response was a full month ago.

If he wants to use IK plugins, then I don’t see anything wrong with that.

I don’t think they make bad products, but I don’t see them as customer driven. Definitely not that musician first BS.

Despite the marketing of their products, someone there must actually give a shit about how these products work, sound and look, because its decent stuff.

I stopped using IK. I hate the sale/upgrade stuff and simply felt better moving on, but if someone uses these and likes it I would think this is exactly the person who IK should jump at the opportunity to help. Everyone is bashing their products and here’s someone just trying to use what they’ve purchased.
