I found that in the MIDI Mutator tab, there is no option to listen to the changes together with the Composition. I was working on changing my bass and in order to listen to how it sounds with the drums, I had to constantly save and change the phrase in the Composition and return to the Mutator again. Such a number of actions would not be necessary if in the MIDI Mutator tab there was an option to listen together with the Composition. Thank you.

Returning to the old idea... I think it would be very convenient to be able to embed inspectors into the browser.

We have a good thing - a virtual keyboard. Now it shows the notes that are played and that's it... It would be very good if it became another source of input of chords in the Master Track. Maybe just add a button "Add to Master Track" (I mean the chord that I typed on the virtual keyboard) ?

I desperately tried to reproduce this serious bug but I was not able to.
Will you please check if the same happens with beta5 (available in a few minutes).

EDIT: are you sure it is a crash and not a deadlock, because I introduced a bug in beta4 which caused a deadlock and which is fixed in beta5.

RapidComposer v5.9b5 is available!

Improvements:

• Note length editing added to Rhythm Lab which makes it even more flexible
• Clave 2:3 and Clave 3:2 presets added to Rhythm Lab
• 'Reharmonize chords to scale' and 'Reset' buttons added to the "multiple chords" menu.
• 'Render phrase with variations, voicing and lock' added
• Fixed possible deadlock when clicking on the master track scale
• Fixed: CC editor height was reset in the Phrase Editor
• Clicking on a selected chord will not deselect other chords
• Ctrl-click for chord selection properly shows the "multiple chords" menu
• Rendering track variations logic simplified (substantial changes in applying variations!)

I desperately tried to reproduce this serious bug but I was not able to.
Will you please check if the same happens with beta5 (available in a few minutes).

EDIT: are you sure it is a crash and not a deadlock, because I introduced a bug in beta4 which caused a deadlock and which is fixed in beta5.

Regarding Rhythm Lab... This is of course exclusively my opinion)) I would like Rhythm Lab to work not only as part of the Generator, but also as a tool for working with a regular phrase. In Rhythm Lab, a pencil appears with the Control button, which only adds a value column, but does not erase with a double click and there is no way to draw a free line on the value columns.

And by the way, in the latest beta version the track variation "Note range limit" doesn't work for me.

It seems to me that it would be convenient to do the following for quick work.. Make an option for a track that would look something like this "Always automatically convert any phrase or midi file to relative form with scale mapping for this track", or optionally with chord mapping. As an example, I often need such a track to quickly move midi files or relative phrases with a different mapping to it. That is, conversion on a track can be both manual and instantly automatic.

It would also be good in the master track menu if the chord regeneration (dice) could regenerate not only in accordance with the Chord Rules, but also the selected type of extension here in the master track menu. For example, I select chords 7 and click on the dice to regenerate already from the seventh chord. Also from 9, etc., possibly taking into account the scales that can correspond to these chords.
