Hoping more cool updates on workflow (fix that basic piano roll), not some useless cpu heavy devices.

What we can see, bar lines on the clips, and probably linked clips (hook icon?)
Vertical line to separate clips and automation and rounded clip corners.

Maybe too far with the gridlines, but.as long as it shuts up the whingers.

I mean it looks clean - I notice a new region header title. the grid lines through regions. the darker ui (maybe customization including the grid lines how much u want them to go through). Really exciting news nonetheless! Always excited to see bitwig move forward. Keep going!

I hope they improve the audio editing and mastering features so I don't have to get Studio One. Official skin or theme customization would be nice too, just like in Renoise and S1.

If you really want those two things maybe try something dedicated like Wavelab?

I find master hits on Bitwig to be really strange. What are you doing with Mastering that you can't do inside of Bitwig? Also Wavelab is an amazing tool IF you need it.

Considering that I am only making music as a hobby (primarily trance, downtempo, and ambient), I probably don't need anything else. I could probably master and mix with it (I have Multiband X6 and Toneboosters EQ 4), but some have better experiences in other places. I still need to be familiar with EQ and Compression before I move on. But Studio One does have a really cool Mix Engine FX feature that applies a single effect at track levels automatically.

Chord track, maybe. And that might also mean scale modes in piano roll.
