OSIRUS:

I do not hear any difference between the Delay settings clock 1/2 and 1/4. Bug?
Plugin version: 1.2.30 VST, ROM: Virus-C 6.6.

Ok, so the Viruses seem to have a maximum delay time of 700 ms. So clock 1/2 only works when the hosts BPM is high enough.

Maybe they construct the delay buffer with a fixed amount of samples in it. Which effectively sets the maximum delay time. If you change to a higher or lower sample rate, does the max time change? If so that's almost certainly the issue.

Surge has the same problem but allocates way more data so most people probably never noticed it. But since the maximum temposync rate in the delay effect is absurdly long (8 whole notes or some such), someone eventually did.

Pretty sure this was Access' only reasonable option, considering it's on a DSP board with a small, fixed amount of RAM

@T.U.S.-Team: Please store the plugin gain setting (-12,-6,0,6,12 db) in the settings.xml.
After each restart it is reset to default (0).

Cool, this seems to have some minor issues though:

* no ADSR animation
* no knob for Master-Volume
* some gfx glitches

do you mean a default preset, or a default config (as in Ableton Live "Save as default configuration")?

that's what i thought you meant, but that does not seem to work. the gain is reset to 0 upon next load of the plugin.

or am i still missing something?

I am playing Osirus and Ostirus versions 2.0.2 just fine. Tried to update to versions 2.1 and Logic refuses to recognize them. I completely uninstalled the previous versions and went through all the motions to install the new versions: no luck. Anyone run into similar problems?

MacOS 14.8.3, Logic 11.2.2

Motorola DSP563xx Emulator (BETA) (Access Virus, Nord Lead, Waldorf MW...)
