Combo Delay and Reverb Plugin Suggestions?

Anybody have any suggestions for a reverb/delay combo plugin? Preferably something that is Silicon Mac-compatible (AU), easy on the CPU, flexible routing (parallel, series, ability to change the FX order), and not absurdly priced. Honestly, I thought there would be more of these available, but I’m looking around and so far only a few have popped up in my searches, including:

Waves CLA Epic
Baby Audio Spaced Out

Oh, and yes I’m well aware that I can use separate delay and reverb plugins, but I’m specifically looking for a both-in-one solution because… reasons. :phones:

Pulsar Modular P930 but you'd probably say it was absurdly priced.

Nuro audio. Xvox or Xvox pro. All those things, sounds great. Super low on cpu

Eventide UltraReverb is excellent as a one stop shop for reverb and delay. Currently on sale for $49.

Do you have any objections to just using a modular FX plugin or something like Blue Cat's Late Replies? – as that will cover a lot more bases and give you a fair amount of routing flexibility.

Or, if you can live with just diffusion on the taps, something like ValhallaDelay, or ReplicaXT.

These plugins are no longer maintained and now provided for free. I believe they're Apple Silicon native.

Spacer should fit the bill.

I know it's not exactly what was requested, but I'd take a look at ValhallaDSP SuperMassive.
It combines delays and reverb in a non-conventional way. And at its price, can't be beaten :)

Hope it helps,

Thanks for all the suggestion, guys! To clarify, what I really want is something that simply includes a delay module and a separate reverb module, not a do-it-all FX plugin or modular FX plugin. Waves CLA Epic was close, but I just don't jive with it. I actually realized that Waves SpaceRider is more like what I'm looking for so I'm going to demo that and the Baby Audio plugin this weekend.

That one keeps grabbing my attention and, even though it's not quite what I'm looking for, it's probably just a matter of time before another no-brainer sale makes me buy it! Thanks aMUSED!

That's definitely up there in price at $180, but it certainly looks like a solid contender, so I'll give the demo a whirl and maybe it will blow the socks off the others... Thanks!

I actually own Xvox Pro (love it!) and had forgotten that it has the individual modules (including the delay/reverb) included, so that's an option, but the routing is pretty limited. However, that also led me to their SuperNova plugin, which looks to be exactly what I'm looking for and it has decent loyalty pricing, so that's getting demo'ed this weekend. Thanks for the tip!

Ooh, I had forgotten about that one, but looks like another great option that I'll check out. Thanks!

I have that and it's awesome, but not quite I'm after. Thanks!

I think I have way more excellent options here than I expected and my next problem will be deciding which one to choose, so thanks all!

And, a funny sidenote. I just went to check this out at PB and realized that I already own it! :dog: Apparently, it came as my freebie with a past purchase and, seeing as I have a habit of never installing freebies to minimize clutter, I never did. OK, well, looks like that will get downloaded this weekend as well. :tu:

I'm a big fan of Spaced Out. The signal flow is fixed (delay and verb run in parallel). There are probably plugins out there that are deeper in terms of parameters, but all the basics are there (ducking, tap configuration, HPF/LPF, etc.). I love it because it's very quick to set up. I generally hit random a few times to find something I like, adjust the HPF and LPF values, and then adjust the wet/dry mix to taste.

My only real complaint about it is that the wet/dry mix can be a little touchy when trying to dial in lower mix values, it's not terrible though.

EDIT: NM, sounds like the thread resolved itself.

haha easily done. If you get a chance though do look at Sixthsample Deelay PE - it's a very neat combo of delay and reverb and deserves to be more widely known

I just got Sinevibes Dispersion and it does weird, chorusy, reverb delays.
I also got the free version of Excite Audio Motion Dimension. It chews up CPU but it sounds soooooo good.
(I think the actual software would eat my i5 alive.)

OK, well, this ended up being the easiest decision I’ve made in a while. I really liked the Baby Audio Spaced Out and Sixthsample Deelay PE and will likely end up buying them at some point, but Nuro Supernova was exactly what I wanted. I’d go so far to say that, if I could’ve designed my ideal reverb/delay combo plugin, it would’ve been Supernova. Clean and intuitive interface, easy on the CPU, tons of excellent sounding reverb and delay algorithms, delay and reverb modules can easily be switched between parallel, reverb>delay, or delay>reverb, slider in the middle to adjust the balance between the two modules, lockable mix knob, hi/lo-pass filters on both modules, ducking, etc. And, best of all, it sounds great. I’m really surprised those guys don’t get more attention here.
