I had been pushing buttons in Harmor and noticed something. Is it a new discovery? I am unable to find definitive information about it.

I imported a .wav format wavetable, and discovered if I select Unison in the Image freq mode dropdown, the wavetable suddenly renders the exact audio I brought in.

This is simply huge to me. I do not want to alter the sound of my wavetables unless I do it intentionally. This selection seems to have been the missing link. I have never had Harmor render wavetables crisply and unaffected both in audio and on a scope, till yesterday.

I don't know why the name Unison was chosen, and so be it. I would call it "no effect" or similar.

Am I dumb?

Anyone?

EDIT: just now, I've noticed that rotating the Image freq pixel scale knob to zero achieves the same effect.

Good point. There are some yt tutorials of the image synthesizer that mention this, and yes I agree the modes are oddly named. I've never loaded a wavetable in Harmor! Will have to try that

I'm so happy. See what you find.

To create wavetables, I use AudioTerm. It allows you to create wavetables in the wt. format. Harmor supports this format perfectly.
On this website, you can find wavetables for the Komplexer. You can import them into Harmor.
I converted all the wavetables for the Virus TI to Harmor using this method.

Harmor and Drumaxx are Fl's most powerful tools.
They are slowing adding upscaling to their older plugins.
The smallest minority on earth is the individual.

Agree with all comments. I need to do a video. You know, every time you discover something, you should do a tutorial. :hyper: But no seriously.
