If you’re primarily mixing in VE Pro and have reliable presets in Vienna Suite Pro, it makes sense to bypass Cubase’s native FX. Frequency is already a powerful EQ, and Magneto provides solid saturation. Unless there’s a workflow-specific reason to switch, your current setup sounds optimal.jancivil wrote: Sun Aug 03, 2025 8:54 pm I've used Frequency, and Magneto 2 in Cubase. I don't know that I need any other EQ, though I tend to use the one from Vienna Suite Pro (I have a preset I made for a basis, so it saves a few seconds, and I prefer its GUI). Magneto is also top drawer for a saturation effect.
I don't tend to mix in Cubase's mixer, I automate from VE Pro so most plugins I'll use live there. So I'm not all that curious about the stock FX.
