Panning:

Could you explain how you do this most of the Times?

I Almost always leave Bass, kick and Snare Center (I heard some pan or stereo widen snares and claps?) and the Rest is pretty much spreaded everywhere , from 5% to 70% and some Elements that only come here and there even hard to the Side.
Is this how you would do it too, or am I going to wide?

I listened to some stuff on headphones and the Most „Crazy“ stuff panning wise was old Timbaland stuff.

Raise up - i think the hat is Hard panned to the Left and then another one to the Right but plays Off beat.

Do you have more examples Like this?

In eminem - i don’t give a f Theres some stuff going from Side to Side, but not all the way.

John Muir from Q Has some Main sample stuff hard Left and other hard right i think. That was pretty new to me to be honest.

Also when to not pan but use something like widener(s)? I have the Cubase one and the polyverse.

Then Bus Processing. Are you always doing this on Drums , Melody Stuff and Vocals , Bass?
What are you doing tape to make it more cohesive? Slight compression? When to do and when not?

Then adding highs. I‘m always scared of doing this. I Read so much stuff of people saying to highcut on mostly Everything , also hat’s and Crashs, vocals , melodies , Snares. Then others boost a lot.

Then some say only add with something like fresh air, or maybe sie-q cause it’s Not harsh. Opinions?

Nothing is mandatory but here's what we usually learn in mixing school.

Kick 0%
Snare 0%
Hi hat 60/70% right
rack tom (hanging double toms) 20 % right
floor tom 60/70% left
Bass 0%
Vocals 0%
vocals chorus +3/4% left -3/4% right
Double vocals 4-8-10% left and right
Reverb 0%
Guitars verse 40% right / 40% left
Guitars pre chorus 50% right / 50% left
If guitar is left its reverb is right
If guitar is right its reverb is left
synth 55%-60%-80% left and right

Hope this helps!
