Looking into Mobile DAWs

I run Studio One Pro on PC, but have always been interested in getting into mobile. Cubasis looks interesting, how close is it to using a Desktop DAW ? How do you add synths ? Similar to VSTi ? What about drums ? Is there a EZD3 equivalent ? And hardware, how is the iRig Pro Duo ? They're on sale now. I'll be running this on an iPad btw, so I shouldn't have many problems (?).

There's little interest in mobile music making around here. I strongly suggest checking out https://forum.loopypro.com (formerly forum.audiob.us).
BTW, iOS and iPadOS support Audio Unit (AUv3) plug-ins -- some of them also run on macOS!

Which model of iPad do you have?
Anyway, Cubasis is what I use (when I do). It’s a full DAW, unlike some. The most popular full iPad DAW these days would probably be Logic Pro, but that’s on a subscription basis, so a straight up nope for me. YMMV.
Those DAWs have some synths, as well as more available via IAP (in-app purchases). But generally, I’d suggest looking at the equivalent of VST synths (etc.) from third parties - for iPads and iPhones, these are AUv3 plugins. Or at least, that’s the most convenient type of plugin all ‘round.
I don’t think there’s anything really close to EZDrummer 3 on “iDevices”, but if you were going to use a separate sequencer, or hardware to actually play drums, say, then OneShot by Klevgrand might be a good option. Otherwise, DrumPerfect Pro looks pretty hardcore, but I have no experience with it, so.. could be relevant? Not sure.
Haven’t tried that particular interface. Should be fine, but my general procedure is to make at least a cursory sweep of Reddit (and other forums) for actual owners’ reviews / issues / regrets, etc.

Easiest way for me was Gadget. Self contained.
Or you can use AUM and a step sequencer and various plugins.
Or you can use Drambo.
Or you can use a DAW.
Go to the loopypro forums and dig into years of knowledge of mobile music making.

Thanks for the advice and links guys. Just for reference I write music in the style of Prog Rock. (Yes, Beatles, Floyd, ELP, Rush, ect) I have an iPad Mini7. I'm looking for a faster way to get ideas down, as opposed to firing up a DAW on PC. Just a quick sketch pad. Cubasis3 seems to fit well except I haven't found a drum app that will run in Cubasis3 (yet). Something similar to EZDrummer3 to quickly lay down a drum track to play over.
As far as quickly setting up, compared to DAW PC/Mac how fast can you be up and running ?

For drums try Beathawk by UVI. Plugs into Cubasis. For generative drums and a step sequencer to boot, it's hard to beat Logic on Ipad especially if you use it on desktop.
