Or, it sounds like you could use another plugin, an instrument wrapper or plugin chainer, something like Blue Cat's Patchwork , and build the chain inside that.

There are several other wrappers/chainers like DDMF Metaplugin, PluginGuru Unify, or Kushview Element. I have no experience with any of these.

Logic requires special versions of the AU plugin (I think you can put them in the same .bundle) that are declared as MIDI FX processors. Yes, it's really dumb.

Considering what Serum 2 is doing under the hood (audio rate modulation for almost everything) I'd be really surprised if the CPU usage gets any lower than it is now.

I wish they’d add a unipolar/bipolar toggle to modulations in the right click menu. I know there’s a keyboard shortcut but it would be great to have it.

I did suggest it on the Xfer forums.

Yepp, works as it should. Nice to have both options. . I can dismiss a few synths now.
