I previously used Voxengo Recorder but it is 32bit and all kikka-3 (jbridge etc.) days are behind me.
Anything like it but in 64bit vst3 format?

Tried but could only find some kind of huge software installer frontend, so I opted out, not going to install any of those.

The download for the installer front-end, in the most obvious place ie the Download page, is a 16Mb file. You actually have to go further from that page to find the 'huge' installer for offline installation.legendCNCD wrote: Wed Aug 13, 2025 8:56 am Thanks.

FWIW, I think MRecorder is the only free option out there.

I know this one is more about the audio being available to others you select over the net, collaboration, etc., but maybe it could be used to just record your own audio.

Yeah, I am just so fed up with registering etc. all the time, when just the .vst3 file would suffice. Actually I just tried it and it seems to work ok here. I set it to the "Loopback" setting under Audio Setup/Recording Device.
