Any granular FX plugin with multiple effects lanes?

Hi
I'm looking for a granular FX (not instrument) plugin that features multiple (parallel) effects lanes so that some grains will get processed with some effects and others with different effects. In other words, some grains will be sent to lane 1 that might have a distortion and a reverb module inserted, some will be sent to lane 2 that might have a bitcrusher and a filter, and some to lane 3 that might have a pitchshifter and a tape delay.
Does something like this exist?
Cheers!

Beam by Lunacy Audio can do this. It has really flexible routing and has a granular node.KTlin wrote: Wed Aug 13, 2025 6:45 pm Hi

MBMFX 3 by HY Plugins has a grain delay and you can have multiple routing including parallel routings

Thanks for the suggestions!kraster wrote: Wed Aug 13, 2025 7:49 pm Beam by Lunacy Audio can do this. It has really flexible routing and has a granular node.

Yes, Beam is an awesome plugin, I really like it as it lets you create very complex signal chains, but it can't accomplish what I'm looking for here: sending some grains to an FX chain and other grains (from the same granular module) to a different FX chain. Of course, you can use multiple granular modules in parallel and insert different effects after each one, but it's not the quite the same thing.
And it's the same with MBMFX 3 by HY Plugins (which is another fantastic plugin!).

Unfiltered Audio Triad can do that and more. Cheap as chips as well, it was recently on sale for just $10. And knowing PA, you don't have to wait long for this price to return.

Just as a curve ball to the other suggestions: if you prefer to choose your own effects, you can maybe build something like this with DDMF Metaplugin or Plogue Bidule. Not sure about the grain splitting though.

sound particles 3 can do this - you just have to select granular processing of the specific particle emitter. You use your own fx internal to sound particles

No per-lane effect per se, but multiple lanes and a very deep granular plugin. So maybe Emergence could suit your needs?

Crusher-X can distribute its generators (grain streams) across multiple outputs and you can return them in a daw for further processing.
There are all kinds of configurations for surround modes and multichannel outputs. It also has a discrete Aux channel that you can route to.

Awesome! I didn't know Crusher-X can do that. But then again, it is so incredibly deep and complex that I wouldn't be surprised to find out that it can also make pepperoni pizzakraster wrote: Thu Aug 14, 2025 10:49 am Crusher-X can distribute its generators (grain streams) across multiple outputs and you can return them in a daw for further processing.

Indeed, too bad it doesn't feature built-in effects per each stream, otherwise Emergence is a very nice and super capable granular plugin.sinkmusic wrote: Thu Aug 14, 2025 10:35 am No per-lane effect per se, but multiple lanes and a very deep granular plugin. Not really. It lets you add a granular module on each band/lane (like Beam, MXXX, MBMFX3 and others) but this is not what I'm looking for. As I said above, I need a plugin that can send different streams of grains (from the same granular module!) to different lanes so each stream can be processed with a different FX chain.

Yeah Crusher-X is on a whole different level. But also on a whole different level price wise, unfortunately.KTlin wrote: Thu Aug 14, 2025 11:00 amAwesome! I didn't know Crusher-X can do that. I'm a bit of a granular junkie so I've bought nearly every granular processor going. If I'd just bought Crusher-X from the get go I'd probably have saved money!
Crusher automatically assigns generators to consecutive outputs.
Each modulator allows you to offset the phase and the modulation rate of each generator. So for example each generator could have different filter values.
There's even a dedicated generator offset which offsets all processing.
Bananas!
Crusher-x is built with multichannel formats in mind (you have lots of surround options) so it's perfect for the kind of thing you're looking for.

Lese Glow has parallel and serial routings for the grain engines and the effects, but you can only use one effect per lane when in parallel.

And what about BCA Patchwork with a granular FX loaded into it?
