Thanks for the suggestion! I haven't heard of this plugin before so I downloaded the demo and played a little bit with it. It's a very nice granular plugin. The freeze section is quite interesting (I don't remember seeing something like this in another granular plugin) and having three separate granular engines makes this plugin very versatile. Too bad the FX section is rather limited (the lack of a simple filter is especially frustrating) and the modulation section is quite basic.pabloaldunate wrote: Fri Aug 15, 2025 11:10 am Lese Glow has parallel and serial routings for the grain engines and the effects, but you can only use one effect per lane when in parallel.
Yes, Patchwork could (somehow) do the trick but you would need some external modulators (as Patchwork doesn't have built-in modulators) to modulate the pre gain parameter for each row of effects in order to send different streams of grains to different effects. It's doable but a little cumbersome and having external modulators involved means that it gets more complicated to save presets, that's why I prefer a self-contained solution. I also hate using Patchwork (especially when dealing with complex effect chains) because in order to edit the parameters you have to open each effect/plugin in its separate window and when you have a lot of effects/plugins inserted it quickly becomes a mess.sinkmusic wrote: Fri Aug 15, 2025 12:01 pm And what about BCA Patchwork with a granular FX loaded into it?
