We are working on Mac versions for our plugins and would like to know what would benefit most of you.
Thanks

This is great news! VST all the way for me.

The poll says "what does your host support" but the question in the first post is "what do you want".
I mostly use Live and Tracktion on Mac, but would like VST support.
The thing is I don't know what lies in the future for the Mac platform - that is the real issue, I guess. If everyone standardises on AU then of course that would be preferable.

I use Logic; I have the VST-AU adapter, but don't like it. Some plugs seem to be unstable with it, preset management is often clumsy. I try to stay away from converted VST plugs as much as I can.
I would hesitate to buy VST plugs.

I would definitely go for an AU version.

Well, from my point of underground misinformation, it will pretty soon look like this:
AU only hosts: 60%
AU & VST hosts: 35%
VST only hosts: the one left
(but I'm under NDA when it comes to say which of the two remaining VST only hosts will switch to AU & VST)
However, if you already have VST Win and if you are able to provide AU, then VST Mach-o should be a no-brainer to do as well.
Cheers,
Urs

However, it's not set in stone, but if a host developer tests my AU-only software with one of their so-far-VST-only hosts, asking questions about some behaviours (and bugs

@Torben: Are you talking about Gold or Classic Series, or both? (Just curious -- the Modulator looks tempting
.)
Someday I'll look back on all this and laugh... until they sedate me.
