Browsing through this forum ive learned some great tips on mixing and instruments, thanks for that so far all

I'm looking for a (free) simple LoCut and/or HiCut VST plug. (preferably with Q setting.)
It's something that i always miss when i'm mixing. Logic Pro audio has it and it's great to use for a wide range of tricks. Hardly consumes cpu too.
Haven't been able to find something similar for cubase so far..

(Yes i can use eq or a filter but i'm really looking for just a simple slider-like plugin.)

Have you tried Nyquist EQ? Great value for free.

What about to use C3 Multiband Compressor in no-compression mode ?
Just load the plugin, select the crossover frequencies and pull down the OUT knob to minimum in the desired High/Low band.

The advantage compared to normal equalizers:
You can turn the band completely to 0 (zero).
In equalizers you can only damp it by -24 or best -48 dB.
