I'm looking for some sort of stand for my laptop that can clamp onto the edge of my desk so I can have everything at one spot.
I was looking on the net and got tired after a bit.
Links would be nice. Thanks.

I'm using the Signum stand from IKEA:

It's supposed to be used for monitors but works very well with my laptop. It can swivel and it's high enough to be able to swing it above my Triton Extreme when I need access to the laptops keyboard.

I saw something that looks exactly like what I want in one of the studio threads a few weeks ago. I had a look through my thread and crimson's thread but I didn't find it. I didn't look all the way through crimson's thread because I remember it was a newer pic posted within the last month.
Guess I'll keep at it.
Thanks for the links guys.

I've been looking around and this is the best that I can find. It's exactly what I want however, I don't understand how this is so pricey. I guess it's more of a specialty item.

c-clamp, adjustable arm (5.5 - 17 lbs.) with laptop platform 03-MON7000 $279.00
Anyone know of a more affordable alternative? If I can find a cheap laptop stand (stands on the floor independently) I might even go for that.

Just to explain it better. I am looking for a "clamp on" stand with a swiveling arm so that I can angle it off the side of the desk. I have no room on my desk for the laptop and mounting it on the wall will not work as it would be too far away from everything else.
Thanks again guys.

One last bump.
I might just go down to my old man's machine shop and make something instead though.
