but significantly updated - while in practice having lines jumping around scanning the wavetable array might not be that different to just loading different wavetables the interaction design will be a lot more fun and controllable

Filtertable is seriously underrated.

Dawesomes cool, gotta buy during intro sale, at least the synths rarely get lower than that.

Out of the many developers that have been continually releasing new, innovative plug-ins, Dawesome Music has stayed up at the front of the pack in my opinion. I got hooked after Peter's first release, and now almost every project or track that I'm working on has at least one instance of a Dawesome VST/AU in it. He's also been really good about offering intro discounts as well. And that helps those who have a tighter budget to work with.

Oh gosh, I know this comes across as being a total fanboy. Lol, but so be it, they're awesome tools! Kontrast looks to be a new, alternative method of using wavetable synthesis. And hopefully, we'll also see some high-quality factory presets by fellow KVR members like Spektralisk, Databroth, and others. It's going to be an exciting addition to the family, I can just feel it.

Actually the teaser was made entirely with factory presets.

This looks a bit reminiscent of iZotope’s Iris, but I’m always interested in anything from Dawsome.

LOL, they didn't. Even the German Telekom tried to "copyright" or similar the color magenta. Didn't succeed.
And if they succeeded, that would have been Krass.
