Moving from Windows 10 to 11 — Appreciating Good Developer Support

I’m finally moving from my old Windows 10 PC to Windows 11. I actually bought the upgrade box years ago but never got around to making the switch—until now.

One thing I’ve really come to appreciate during this process is companies that make reinstalling and re-downloading easy.

Big props to Orange Tree Samples – I just logged in, downloaded everything from my account, and I was good to go.

I also appreciate companies like XLN Audio, Universal Audio, Toontrack, UVI, SSL, etc., that have their own product managers.

Which developers do you think handle this well — and which ones drive you nuts when it's time to set up a new system?
