Same, but I find that with bitwig v?.0.0 (in this case v6.0.0) there will be quite a few updates in the first 3 months till all the bugs stop flooding in and are somewhat fixed. This is usually the case for most software just released or a major version release.Ghostwave wrote: Fri Aug 29, 2025 9:06 am For those who have extensively used it, how stable is the beta? I've got a renewal code ready to use and I'm wondering if I should wait to use it. Thanks
I'm waiting for v6.1 till I use my code, that way I hopefully will get to see version 7.0.x or if lucky 7.1.x
However... The only thing I was needing from Bitwig was a better piano roll and a damn UI clean up, make lines, blocks, repeaters etc easy to see. Looks like other work has made them adjust the UI a bit and could help my issue, but if it hasn't, I will wait till 7.x.
Also if they have screwed up the scenes midi and sample clips so that it's now cluttered with automation clips everywhere and you can't hide them. I will be staying on v5 forever, as I use it a hell of a lot for re-structuring my song sequences and trying out different combinations, dragging and dropping from the scenes to the main timeline, I can easily spend hours doing this and I love it.
