Some of the self proclaimed 'professionals' in here, are just laughable.

Me wont tell zero more, as a picture is worth a thousand words.
https://dibiquadroaudio.com/wp-content/ ... 20Test.zipClash with reality - Would you pass a blind test?
The analysis above suggests to:
increase the UpsamplingFactor as much as you can to reduce the aliasing artifacts (for the OVERDRIVE channel, we recommend to render files at 64x if SampleRate is 88.2/96KHz, 128x if SampleRate is 44.1/48KHz);
use a high SampleRate (88.2KHz or 96KHz) and reduce the slope of the DownSampling LinearPhase LPF to minimize oscillations and artifacts.
This page could stop here if we were not talking about music. But we are, and we should trust our ears. So, do these numbers and graphs have any connection with reality?

Maybe too much is lost in translation here.
I don't get your point.
Are you angry? Frustrated? Disagree? What is it and what is it about?
I have nothing against you.
Are you Aleksey?

I've been going back through trolls like this' old posts and most used to be decent. This person used to be helpful and a pretty positive addition to discussion here.
I don't understand, why do they keep posting here if it makes them feel the need to be unkind, unhelpful, and just pontificate but not in a way people will hear/learn from? They know their stuff, they WANT to communicate (or else why come here and post). Why not do it in a way other people will choose to hear them like how they used to communicate on here?

Why do you chose to talk to people like this? Going by old posts you used to be a normal decent poster.El°HYM wrote: Tue Sep 02, 2025 6:43 am Some of the self proclaimed 'professionals' in here, are just laughable.

Sorry I was referring to El°HYM not you.whassup wrote: Tue Sep 02, 2025 11:20 pm Yeah, right. I should rather refrain from stuff like "Big fat controversial take".
Peace.
Controversial take doesn't mean people should stop being normal and decent, especially when we're just talking about personal preference in music tools not world important stuff.
