Studio One Forum?? Oh yeah! I remember that, before they decided to segment the community and put it behind a paywall.Crossinger wrote: Thu Sep 04, 2025 4:53 pm Instead, you get the grumpy response in the Studio One forum that the available off-the-shelf models are more or less the same for all DAWs anyway.

One thing I find incredibly time consuming is colouring things like the chord track. If you have a song with lots of chords, even though you can select all the same chords and colour them, it is still very tedious. How there isn't an auto-colour option, I don't understand.
Honestly, the best updates in the last couple years, come from non-Presonus, like the Harmony Wizard, or the colour toolbar.
The fact that people can, in their own time, make Studio One better than the actual company can, is pretty worrying. (and frankly pretty pathetic)

Well, there is studiooneforum.com, but I'm sure they put the original official forum behind the paywall of Plus, or whatever they call the subscription...Vocalpoint Studios wrote: Thu Sep 04, 2025 10:08 pm

The old forum was mothballed - completely. No paywall, no history, no official - no nothing.thievedletter wrote: Thu Sep 04, 2025 10:11 pmWell, there is studiooneforum.com, but I'm sure they put the original official forum behind the paywall of Plus, or whatever they call the subscription...
StudioOneForum.com is it - as far as I know.

Oh ok, I thought it was part of the subscription, but I don't have that.

They completely erased the old forum and instead have this "community" that is paywalled with the subscription - https://my.presonus.com/community/channels/all_poststhievedletter wrote: Thu Sep 04, 2025 10:11 pm but I'm sure they put the original official forum behind the paywall of Plus, or whatever they call the subscription...

That "board" (if you can call it that) has been there for 4 years now. And was always part of the subscription model.Digivolt wrote: Fri Sep 05, 2025 10:14 amThey completely erased the old forum and instead have this "community" that is paywalled with the subscription - https://my.presonus.com/community/channels/all_posts
Nothing really special about it - but it serves it's purpose. The new community (non-Presonus affliated) board allows for much more "in-depth" conversations without the fear of posts disappearing, Presonus nosing in and so on.
You can speak your mind about anything - with plenty of like minded S1 users.

Wow, please add this to my utter garbage list. No wonder innovation has collapsed on their heads, because innovation comes from the outside, not inside.Digivolt wrote: Fri Sep 05, 2025 10:14 am They completely erased the old forum and instead have this "community" that is paywalled with the subscription - https://my.presonus.com/community/channels/all_posts
Yes. I am sure there are many very, very open minded people there.

Yeah but when they announced shutting down the forums, they did try to direct people to the "community" like it was a replacement for the forum that everyone had to access to vs now only the "premium" members getting to discuss while the rest of us perpetual peasants look like thisVocalpoint Studios wrote: Fri Sep 05, 2025 12:48 pm That "board" (if you can call it that) has been there for 4 years now. Well - I was an original forum member from 2012-2013 and I do not recall anyone trying to direct me anywhere.Digivolt wrote: Fri Sep 05, 2025 1:37 pmYeah but when they announced shutting down the forums, they did try to direct people to the "community" like it was a replacement for the forum that everyone had to access to vs now only the "premium" members getting to discuss while the rest of us perpetual peasants look like this
One day I tried to log on and the forum was gone. We had warning - yes. And of course there were posts here and there indicating the existence of that subscription community - but for us perpetual users - that was a non starter from the word go. Not even worth thinking about.
So a bunch of insiders started their own thing. It is miles better than that old forum ever was and easily outpaces that subscription area as well.
For power users - the new forum is all I need.

On NI's website, Studio One has disappeared from the list of DAWs that should receive Kontrol MK3 firmware 2.0 support soon. It's not there anymore. In my case, my updates expire on October 21st, so this is very disappointing. I try Bitwig for a month and then I will consider to switch or not.

This "update" is in Presonus hands to deal with. If this is an actual priority - I am sure we will get it soon enough.
NI has zero knowledge or input into anything that Presonus is doing (or not doing) so making a bunch of assumptions because some blurb on the NI site has been changed - makes zero sense.

I understand but it's not nice that Studio One is the only DAW that has fallen off that list. It was there before and now it's not, so assuming that it's not a priority is reasonable, unless there is an update very soon.I am certainly not optimistic about this but maybe I'm wrong. Time will tell.
