I love abandoned stuff.
It feels so decadent.
It reminds me of the limits for all human desires.
I love abandoned stuff.
Yeah, Geheimtip!Gabriel Garcia wrote: Tue Aug 26, 2025 9:12 pm I agree! It just sounds more vintage now that is abandoned![]()
I've written software synths and built hardware ones so please don't patronize me, just makes you look a fool.IvyBirds wrote: Tue Aug 26, 2025 2:31 pm let me repeat that again because you seem to not understand how a synth works
Has Plasmonic a subscription active that should provide updates and new material periodically?BBFG# wrote: Fri Sep 05, 2025 6:42 am Not sure this is an important thing really, but what is the timeline that triggers the panic?
Was just noticing Plasmonic trial is on the same version for a couple of years.
Do members here feel it's abandoned too?
The developer released a tremendously powerful and interesting multi-effects thing not so long ago so definitely not a feeling of abandonment. Not that I wouldn't mind new and shiny stuff but I know he's active.BBFG# wrote: Fri Sep 05, 2025 6:42 am Not sure this is an important thing really, but what is the timeline that triggers the panic?

Are you perhaps confusing Helix (by Jonas Norberg, 2008) with Helm (by Matt Tytel)? They are not connected in any way IIRC.liquidsound wrote: Fri Sep 05, 2025 6:23 pm Helix (beautiful sounding synth) still on sale but not vst3 yet... or never?
Vital vst3...
hmm, That sounds a little "Wusiky" though. Done with one thing and moving to the next. Although I have far more confidence in Brian than I could ever have again in Wil'K.mutagen wrote: Fri Sep 05, 2025 5:17 pmThe developer released a tremendously powerful and interesting multi-effects thing not so long ago so definitely not a feeling of abandonment. Vital and Helix share the same aspect: They still for sale and no signs of moving forward.
Vital, being a vst3, will have a better milage so far.
