The B is Behringer, just makes it easy to talk about them We know that B.55 is their system 55, and not Moog's.
In this thread we complain about things that they missed or make no sense. This is not a thread to tell everyone for the four hundred and seventy fourth time that you think they're evil. Go make your own less fun thread for that.
Like this...
Damn it Behringer, why only one Eurorack output module. Multiple different clones but only a clunky football field sized System 100 output module. Where's the simple $30 headphone out module in 8HP or less?

The only B synths I’ve ever owned are my TD-3 and TD-3 MO and I’m finding it hard to think of a single complaint
Here’s what I got:
Damn it, Behringer, why don’t I get a free TD-3 t-shirt for owning both the standard and MO versions?
How’s that?

Behringer, why haven't you cloned the Korg PS-3300? At least clone one of the modules?

With their massive resources it'd be nice to see a few more interesting products among the welter of inconsistently-accurate-clones and disproportionate reliance on the (admittedly brilliant) work of a single French woman and the non-vintage output of moog.
Also: I wish their guiding principle was value rather than price. Their products could stand to be slightly more expensive and have fewer corners cut. I have (and have had) a number of their products and all of them could have been significantly improved by a little more time spent on design and refinement or by using only slightly better components.

F*** me sideways, B, why are you just cloning everything while missing the opportunity to enhamce the original designs? I got the chorus ensemble and the b tron phase shifter. While I like their sound, I'm missing full control of the LFO on the one and hate the too fast LFO speed on the other. Also got the RD8 and RD9 and, yes, they sound good, but I wish I could take them in territories where the original devices would never have been able to go to. If there is analog circuitry, then let us use it full scale!

Damn it B, why did you use those crappy, smooth knobs on the Edge. They’re not even sized right for the space between knobs! I know you can make good knobs, the one (s) on the Kobol and 2600 are good.

I'm waiting on the PolySource. I want a cheap poly with ladder filters. Please don't tell me about Moogs, I am all about the Boog!

I don't know who they stole the design from but.... My B powered studio monitors are okay for the price. Truth be told I got them in a going out of business sale during covid. The store owner couldn't send them back.
Mostly I hated the noisy plastic euro mixer they put out way back when. Between the crap mixer, the stealing everything from someone else and that whole thing where they decided they had the exclusive right to button midi guitars with screens on them. That was more than enough to steer me away from the brand.
Misa Digital was just starting to make headway and even though they did it first Behringer copied and then laid down copyright protection.

Ok, you're mad, go start a mad thread. Damn it B, charge $2 more and use some better knobs! Didn't someone already complain about the knobs?

I already had to contact support from my local dealer for the replacement of half of the knob caps for my 369kt. Used it just a few hours and they were done!ghettosynth wrote: Mon Sep 08, 2025 5:24 am Ok, you're mad, go start a mad thread. Damn it B, charge $2 more and use some better knobs! I think that those are a bridge too far. I saw a video review where one broke the first time that it was used. I would only want replacements so I could pass them on when I decided to sell it. Until then, I'd put something decent on there.michat wrote: Mon Sep 08, 2025 6:41 amI already had to contact support from my local dealer for the replacement of half of the knob caps for my 369kt.
