Another LIVE mode suggestion:
Make the boundaries of the notes in the LIVE MODE "timeline" draggable to resize the looping area that the note will trigger.
IOW, easy dragging of the boundaries to make the playback areas (loops) different lengths.
This would be a very easy way to define Verse 1, Chorus A, Verse 2, Chorus B, etc.

Hi again.
Re: LIVE mode color -
Currently we have (light-gray) white notes and (black) black notes, either of which will turn blue when that note has been triggered.
For me, the contrast here is insufficient to draw my eye and thus quickly and easily allow me to track the information about what is currently playing.
Offhand, I think I'd be better off with not changing the colors, but rather putting a bright red box around the current note. But if that is more difficult graphically, simply using red (probably should be user-selectable) instead of low-contrast blue would be helpful here.
Thanks.

Hey, kind of just got the new beta and have a question.. when copying from the master track, it only copies the entire master track and not selected?
edit: also transpose scales, if you uncheck it, then open the inspector again, it's reverted to on again.

Thanks for all the suggestions!sj1 wrote: Wed Aug 27, 2025 6:57 pm Another LIVE mode suggestion:

You can already do that. You can assign the following to the keys:
- bars (of bar length, this cannot be resized)
- chords (of arbitrary lengths)
- lines (of arbitrary lengths)
- parts (of arbitrary lengths) (only in the next beta version!)
Thanks,
Attila

good point! I added "Copy to other master track" and "Copy selection to other master track".
Yes, I fixed this too!BluGenes wrote: Sat Aug 30, 2025 10:19 am edit: also transpose scales, if you uncheck it, then open the inspector again, it's reverted to on again.

A good enhancement for sure - this completes the structural LIVE mode support for the existing paradigm. So if verse/chorus are separate parts, you'll be able to assign them in the next beta version!
This suggestion, I suppose, represents an additional paradigm in which the UI would add draggable boudaries and the note areas would have definitions independent of the existing bar/chord/line/part structures. In effect, a 5th form of structure, specifically for LIVE mode. It would save with the song.Make the boundaries of the notes in the LIVE MODE "timeline" draggable to resize the looping area that the note will trigger.
IOW, easy dragging of the boundaries to make the playback areas (loops) different lengths.
No doubt this would be non-trivial (but possible) to implement. You'd have to evaluate it for priority against the other items on the TODO and WISH lists.
I do think though that it would be a highly intuitive way to work with LIVE mode, and so I commend the possibility for further consideration at some point. Cheers!

LIVE mode suggestion: (After one-touch looping is implemented) Allow mouse clicks in the LIVE mode note area timeline to select the next loop. IOW, let the mouse be an alternative to incoming MIDI notes.
(This should also be a nice way to drive LIVE mode from touch-screens.)

Hello Attila. I have a wish to say that when we started with the idea of several master tracks, I meant that the master tracks (A and B) would each be applied to certain tracks. For example, master track A is applied to tracks 1 and 4, and master track B is applied to all other tracks. A practical example.. The piano track works with master track A, but the piano track 2 (with harmonic substitutions) works with master track B. Actually, based on this, the idea of several master tracks arose. Perhaps you could implement this? Thank you.

Today I decided to try for the first time how track variations are controlled by envelopes... And I discovered that of all the track variations, only Transposition, Midi Echo and Staccato-Legato are controlled by envelopes. The rest of the Track Variations are not. Is this how it should be?
PS. Also works Set notes length 2 and Delay notes
