Nice that it can do this, but the problem is with the mix. Fix the mix, and save yourself the $$$
I have a really fast computer, some good mics, vintage musical instruments, and lots of fancy software. Just need some talent

3 things:

1. of course. unless you're mastering for someone else and don't have the mix file.

2. you can tweak things a bit with no loss in quality, so it's fine to fine-tune something like a vocal level or eq, etc, in ozone 12.

3. fwiw, master rebalance is still there as an option!

Why do people conflate their singular opinion with universal fact?

It's a fact that multiple people here have expressed their dissatisfaction with the way iZotope manages their business. Not sure what your point is. By definition it's a matter of opinion and perspective. Figure of speech as well, or did you think they are literally squeezing their customers as lemons?

and multiple people have expressed their satisfaction as well. anyway, i personally use the plugins i want to use, even if they come from waves or NI :D

on topic: i spent the morning remastering a song originally mastered in ozone 11 advanced. the original sounds great, but with some careful tweaking (including using the stem eq & bass control modules, and the new maximizer algorhythm)... it's even better. for me, ozone 12 is a worthy upgrade, just a great mastering tool in general.

That's fine and all, but I don't have to do the extra steps you are taking with the Izotope rig-a-ma-roll. One and Done, and never looked back

You are going back and re-mastering an already mastered piece using tools that you like to use.

I master once, and I'm done, I don't have to go back and remaster something that I did already

you completely missed the point. i went back to a mix i did (that i originally mastered in ozone 11) to see what i could do with it in ozone 12. it was a little better, and for me, better is better, so from now on, will master all new projects in OZ12 :tu:

My point is that you are unreasonably angry, and you act like your opinion is the majority. And that’s weird. And nonsense like your post (do YOU actually have a point?) makes KVR an unnecessarily negative experience for those of us who come here to get actually useful information.

I have the question. Is it OK to use some single moduls like Clarity or Vintage compressor or something else on the inserts when you composing the track? Or it's just the masterin tool in general?

Its perfectly fine to use them anywhere as you feel is needed/wanted imo.

Oh yeah. I see vids about this. Actually did it on a track that really needed help. The thing is, I had to do it in a separate file because Ozone eats a lot of CPU and latency delay is insane (although for whatever reason it never seems to affect tracks unlike some plugins I could name) It worked like a charm.

that's the whole point of the modules being available as individual plugins :tu: i use some of the often.
