I've just done a big update (well, relatively) at ndc Plugs, with 2 new plugins (as usual, Windows and OS X VST) and fixes for 2 older plugins.
The 2 new plugins are:
Amplitude Imposer

This plugin takes two stereo inputs, and imposes the amplitude envelope of the first one onto the second (I got the idea from reading 'On Sonic Art' recently). It also has a feature (this is the interesting bit) where you can set a threshold level, and whenever the second signal's amplitude falls below it, it is automatically amplified up to the threshold, in order to give a more constant signal to the amplitude imposer part. It's kind of like a compressor, but backwards.
Tempo Sync Reverser

This plugin will reverse the input sound for a set (tempo-synced) length of time when you hit the Reverse button. Because it probably works best in a live environment, I've included some MIDI options, and you can quantise the actual reversing operation to the nearest (well, in reality it'll always be the next) applicable beat/note. The idea for this plugin came from Tomasz (cbit around here), who did the GUI for The Modulator 2 and the forthcoming Buffer Synth 2.
As with Cycle Shifter previously, I've made the source code for both these plugins available too.
Speaking of Cycle Shifter, I also recently noticed a fairly major memory leak in this plugin and in Buffer Synth Alpha, so I've uploaded new versions of them to fix it.
Btw, if anyone's still waiting for Buffer Synth 2 to be released (I reckon I've now been working on it for over a year), it is finally finished. I've just got to do some final testing, write some neat presets and finish the pdf manual...
Finally, this isn't related to ndc Plugs really, but I've just uploaded Subvert Audio, the main project for my Masters in Music Technology at Glasgow University, to Sourceforge. Basically it's a music program (kind of similar to graphical music programming languages like Max etc.) which was designed to try and stimulate creativity in the user. I won't go into too much detail here, you can visit the site if you're interested. Screenshot (windows port - the linux version looks better, but I forgot to upload the screenshot before I restarted in my windows partition):
